Simply put a heading that says \u201creferences\u201d or \u201csources\u201d (as they do on Wikipedia) at the end of your answer and that\u2019s where you can leave a backlink to your site too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not perfect as less people click on those links, but they almost always look natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t just link to your website alone<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than that, don\u2019t just link to your website in the exact same way in every single answer. Diversify your linking pattern and link to some high-authority sources within your answer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Wikipedia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YouTube<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reddit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forbes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entrepreneur<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-greatest-pitfall-of-all-collapsed-answers\">The Greatest Pitfall of All: Collapsed Answers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>And here comes the sad truth. You\u2019ve done your research, wrote some awesome answers, yet they are collapsed..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"899\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/beta.crowdo.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-801\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There may be multiple reasons why this happens, and most likely your answer violates some of the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.quora.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/115004211543-What-are-the-main-policies-and-guidelines-for-writing-answers-on-Quora-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Quora Content Guidelines<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no way to tell for sure why your answer has been collapsed, as Quora uses an algorithm for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have actually had a few cases when our answers have been collapsed for (we think) no reason, and after we opened a support ticket &#8211; the support staff has made our answers visible manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You probably don\u2019t want to open a support ticket every single time your answer is flagged, so here are some common reasons to avoid your answers being collapsed and some tips that you can apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"reason-1-your-user-profile-is-not-deemed-trustworthy\">Reason 1: Your User Profile is not Deemed Trustworthy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is what beginners often do. Create a user profile and start linking immediately. This will be considered pure spamming and all of your answers will be removed.
